Overview

This unforgettable helicopter tour takes you as close as possible to Mount Everest, the highest peak in the world at 8848 metres.

You will fly east, parallel to the breathtaking Himalayan range including Khumbu Himal, Ama Dablam, Kantega, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori and Mount Everest. You'll experience the breathtaking landscape of the Everest Region and Sherpa mountain villages, beautiful Buddhist monasteries, emerald mountain lakes and a snowy expanse of Himalayan peaks and glaciers.

If you take this Everest helicopter tour during the climbing season, you may also spy colourful-tented camps of expedition groups on the mountains. There will be a brief stopover of 5 to 10 minutes to take photos at Kala Patthar at 5545 metres, the site of the ‘World’s Highest Cabinet Meeting' and also a stop for refreshments at Hotel Everest View.

This morning, an early drive will deliver you to the domestic airport in Kathmandu one-hour before your scheduled flight. Venturing up to the extreme heights of Mount Everest at 8848 metres, you'll be rewarded with the most beautiful views of mountains, cascades, green hills, settlements, farm villages and more. During this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you'll stop at Hotel Everest View for one of the most breathtaking close views of the Everest Region Himalaya Ranges.
