This is my 18th year in the travel industry doing planning for Japan travel. Japan never fails to fascinate me whenever I travel there. Although, I have the tools and training in the industry, my best teachers are always the locals and my travellers. I have been to Japan countless of times, but I will always find more from them.

I founded J.AKADEMI some 7years ago to combine my work and passion together and translate this to give more practical travel routing and tips to all my clients.

Some of the favourite spots in Japan are the sky castle of Takeda, the snow monsters of Zao; the Namahage demigods of Akita; the ice village of Hokkaido, the living UNESCO of Shirakawa-go village and the summit of Mt Fuji. Apart from the big and fancy spots like these, I always enjoy dining in local streets with locals.

These days, travellers do not just seek for touristic activities, it has evolved into the needs of more local interactions.

I have guests with all sorts of budgets but still, I can plan for regions that are more challenging to do by themselves and some days to do with a private guide. I am always understanding and learning from my clients. Each trip plan is created based on the philosophy of "If it is me who is going: what will I be doing?".
